Marble Cake with Mama Nash

Ingredients
- Soft brown sugar or Castor Sugar – 220g (originally 250g)
- Salted Butter – 250g (melted)
- Dark Cooking Chocolate -180g
- Self-Raising Flour – 260g
- Milk – 170ml
- Vanilla Essence – 2 teaspoons
- 3 medium eggs
Step by Step Instructions
1) Mix the flour, eggs and melted butter. Use a whisk to get rid of lumps. Then add in the sugar and continue to whisk until the mixture is smooth. Add in the Vanilla Essence.
2)Â Â Â Â Â Separate the batter into 2 equal portions.
3)Â Â Â Â Â Melt the chocolate and pour it all into just half the batter.
4)Â Â Â Â Â Mix well, once done, use the spatula to add in the remaining batter, as demonstrated in the video, to create layers and patterns, using the chocolate dark batter and the plain batter.
5)Â Â Â Â Â Preheat the oven at 180 degrees C for 30 to 40 mins until the cake tester can be pulled out clean from the centre of the cake.
